Autonomous Motivation and Self-Disclosure Intention

Studies that specifically discuss the formation of autonomous motivations users social networking services (SNSs) and how such motivation influences SNS user intention to disclose personal location-related information (PLRI) are absent from literature. Consequently, this study, based on self-determination theory system success (ISS) model, investigates relationships among key system-related quality factors, users’ satisfaction regarding an SNS, their intentions PLRI. Survey data collected 514 students at six universities were analyzed validate our research model. Research results show three factors have different motivation, while both significant antecedents The extended application advanced understanding ISS model in context SNS.
